Joyner & Orgera Consulting is a small business founded by Andrew Joyner and Ryan Orgera. Andrew and Ryan received their PhD's in Geography at Louisiana State University where they were primary authors on the multi-jurisdictional hazard mitigation plan for the Louisiana State University System. Andrew is currently an Assistant Professor of Geosciences at East Tennessee State University where he teaches cartography, GIS, spatial statistics, project management, and habitat modeling. Ryan is currently a Senior Associate with the Pew Charitable Trusts in Washington D.C. focusing on Global Shark Conservation.
Joyner & Orgera Consulting offers multidisciplinary, environmental consulting services to government, corporate, and individual clients throughout the United States and abroad. Projects typically revolve around four main areas of expertise: hazard mitigation planning at all jurisdictional levels (e.g., state, county/parish, city, university), custom strategies for conservation modeling and climate change adaptation, a broad range of geospatial analysis services, and custom professional mapping. Projects outside of these areas of expertise can be accommodated as the need arises. Current and past collaborators and clients include FEMA, the Louisiana Governor's Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness (GOHSEP), Louisiana State University, New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection, Rutgers University, and Monmouth University |
